Today, I would like to assist you some tactics for designing a website that actually SELLS.
1. WRITE AN ATTENTION-GRABBING HEADLINE
Your headline is the *MOST* IMPORTANT part of your website.
Reason: you might have LESS than 10 seconds to get your costomer attention.
So the first thing they should see is a headline that
clearly states the biggest benefit your site has to offer.
Location: Your headline better located at the top centre of your
page in a larger font size that naturally attracts attention.
Tools: Use bolding, italics, and highlighting to emphasize the main
benefits in your headline, so they grab your customer attention.
Remarks: (But don’t overdo it! Nothing screams “amateur” more than a website that has too much fancy formatting.)
2. CREATE BENEFIT-DRIVEN sales records THAT *COMPELS* YOUR VISITORS
TO BUY
On the Internet, you do not have any face-to-face interaction with
your potential buyers. It has to introduce your
product, explain the benefits of using it, and sell potential
buyers on the value of your offer.
When you write, you need to tell directly to your
customer needs — and you need to focus on the BENEFITS of using
your product (as opposed to your product’s features)
e.g. ‘The benefits could last longer and save money if you buy our products.’
3. FOLLOW ESTABLISHED DESIGN PRINCIPLES
When you’re designing the look of your site, choose a simple
color scheme and a couple of fonts and stick with them.
People want to know about your offer. That’s why you need
to make sure they can easily read your website.
Could use graphics and images and goes for animation, audio and video, but no abuse.
Remember: Your goal is to SELL!
4. INCLUDE A STRONG CALL TO ACTION
You must give them a strong call to action and tell
them exactly what you want them to do! better no guessing.
e.g. sell a stress-relief product.
“After doing research and testing, I found a set of really
fabulous relaxation tapes that solved my recurring migraine
problems, improved my sleep, and increased my energy level — in
just a few days!
Click here now to learn how they can soothe your troubles away
and lead to a healthy and happy life.”
5. ESTABLISH YOUR CREDIBILITY
Why should someone buy from you? What makes your information more
reliable than your competitors? How could you let customers buy from you.
suggestion: establish your credibility is to list
your accomplishments, qualifications, and experience — so long
as they’re related to your offer. Once you’ve sold some product
from satisfied customers, be sure to
include them on your website as well.
Good luck with your business!

Before even stating What’s sell, your website must have high search engine presence so when anyone submits a generic keyword query on major search engines, your website will show up on the first page of search results.
SEO is the singular key to attracting high Net traffic and comes well before the actual copy contained in the opening webpage.
Good luck
